XPOWER METER CRANKSET:What are the differences between Aluminum Crankset and Carbon Crankset?

  1. The aluminum crankset adapts an anodized process; the carbon crankset adapts a fully nude matte carbon fiber process.
  2. The carbon crankset weighs 495g ± 10g (excluding chainrings), while the aluminum crankset weighs 570g ± 10g (excluding chainrings). The carbon crankset is 60-90 grams lighter than the aluminum crankset (difference varies from crank length) and is more rigid.
  3. The aluminum crankset is made of aluminum alloy with a 4-hole hollowtech design and an anodized process.
  4. The carbon crankset is made of carbon fiber using a 3K fully nude carbon cloth process, without painting surface that retains the original carbon fiber texture.
