Yes. ALPHA 800 is currently available through selected pre-order bundles. Software optimization and final validation are still underway before shipping begins.
When will ALPHA 800 begin shipping?
The final shipping schedule has not yet been confirmed. We are completing software optimization, product testing and production preparation.
Pre-order customers will be notified by email once the estimated shipping window is available.
Does ALPHA 800 support GPS and offline navigation?
Yes. ALPHA 800 automatically searches for GPS signals in an open outdoor area and supports downloadable offline maps for navigation without a continuous internet connection.
How do I download offline maps?
Connect ALPHA 800 to Wi-Fi, open Courses, and select Download to choose the required map area. Once downloaded, the map can be accessed without an active internet connection.
Can I plan a route directly on ALPHA 800?
Yes. After downloading the required offline map, you can create a route by selecting waypoints manually or searching for a destination. ALPHA 800 will then generate a route based on your selections.
Which cycling sensors can ALPHA 800 connect to?
ALPHA 800 supports compatible ANT+ cycling sensors. Sensors can be searched for and paired from the Sensors menu before a ride.
Does ALPHA 800 support power meters?
Yes. ALPHA 800 works with compatible ANT+ power meters and can display and record supported power-related data during a ride. Available data fields may depend on the connected power meter.
Can I customize the ride data pages?
Yes. You can customize the page layout and choose the data fields displayed for different activity modes. Updated layouts can be retained for future rides.
How are ride records saved and exported?
Completed activities can be saved and viewed in History. Ride records can also be exported as FIT files when ALPHA 800 is connected to a computer.
How do I update the ALPHA 800 software?
Connect ALPHA 800 to Wi-Fi, go to Settings and select Software Update. Choose Check for Updates to download and install an available update.
